These tasks will help you reevaluate the program's vision periodically to ensure you're still moving in the right direction.
  • Update vision - Revisit why the program exists on a cadence to ensure the expected outcome can be reached. Ensure the program, planning period (e.g. program increment), and product vision(s) reflect the direction we intend to go in order to inform the programs/teams what to focus on
  • Review strategic intent and guardrails - Evaluate any portfolio-level themes and strategic drivers associated with the next planning period to align with the emerging plans
  • Align teams to mission - Verify which teams are contributing to the program and validate that teams are forecasting iteration/sprint capacity for the next planning period
