How to
This procedure will help you create a collaboration space in Confluence so you can document the program's purpose and scope and keep the team's work together in one spot.
Learn how to create a new program collaboration space
In Confluence, create a new space for this program
Select Spaces in the Confluence navigation and select View all spaces
Select Create space
Set Space Type to “Team Space” to use the team space template
Select the Next button
Set Space Name to “<Program Name> Program”
Set Space Key to “<Program Name>” (all caps - must be unique across the enterprise)
Set Team Members to only the program leader (for now)
Set Description to “Knowledge management support for this program leadership team”
Select the permissions to be “Default permissions” (as set by the local Confluence admin)
Select Create to finish creating the space
Verify that the new space is now available and visible to anyone in the enterprise
Select the <pencil> icon to edit the Overview page
Replace the green Welcome window with a new Heading called “Purpose”
Capture the purpose of this program, from the perspective of the enterprise
Select the Publish button
