Step 4: Continued enablement
The goal of this step is to make sure the user experience is positive and sustainable. Schedule ongoing office hours to answer questions and get a pulse on the areas of confusion. It is very common for pilot groups to require additional or repeat training on agile practices or tools. Make sure you are leveraging insights that are available to you. Administer team happiness surveys and be prepared to respond to negative feedback. If you are using Jira Align and have an active engagement with Atlassian Advisory Services, you can get more insights on your user adoption for key areas of the tool.
Take advantage of all opportunities when working with groups to reinforce what success looks like by recognizing good practitioners and recruiting champions. Celebrate the wins along your journey as you iterate through all steps to deliver against your agile expansion plan. We recommend that you iterate through steps 3-4 per each milestone, typically on a quarterly cadence.
